What Is A Convex Washer? [Solved]
Convex and concave washers are used to transfer clamping forces when the clamping surfaces are not lying parellel to one another. The clamping bolt can be tilted to approx. 3°. The “convex washer” element is made from hardened or stainless steel and is normally used in combination with concave washers.
